Hi, I’m Karishma Chawla, a New York City-based photographer dedicated to bringing your creative vision to life.

My passion for photography sparked in 2006 during high school when I first fell in love with digital cameras. What started as a simple obsession quickly grew through college, where my camera accompanied me to far too many events. Let’s just say, those early Facebook albums are now safely locked away—some things are better left in the past 😅

Towards the end of college, I decided to take my photo skills to new heights and launched Passportinsta, a food and travel blog where photography became my primary tool for storytelling and creating brand awareness.

In 2018, after moving to Los Angeles, I deepened my expertise by investing in professional photography courses and top-tier equipment, expanding into commercial and lifestyle photography.

Since then, I’ve worked with brands on product shoots, been on sets for music videos, produced and directed celebrity documentaries while also capturing engagements and editorial moments with influencers.

I believe in tailoring my style to match the unique vision of each client, with a commitment to exceeding expectations every time.
